what do i write about?
I write about bitcoin, meditation, vipassana, religion, science, psychology, international relations, and above all, my experiences of life. My blog is a public journal and a place where I share my feelings and thoughts.
who am i?
Drawing from Marvin Minsky’s concept that ‘minds are what brains do,’ I extend it to ‘I am what I do.‘ So, who am I based on my daily actions? Here, it’s a curated narrative, skewed by my willingness to share certain aspects, and variable based on time and context:
- I have a keen interest in the progress of Bitcoin, making me a “crypto bro” to some.
- I do powerlifting making me yet another “gym bro”. However, in October 2025 I experienced a herniated disc and that hobby may be over.
- I meditate Vipassana daily, one to two hours. I’ve participated in five Vipassana-meditation retreats and have experienced the broadening of consciousness and experienced God.
- Last time I worked at a crypto-asset wallet provider in Turku, as a business and operations manager.
- I’ve studied psychology and specialised in cognitive neuroscience, and wrote the bachelor thesis on mindfulness and network theories.
- Afterwards I studied Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research, which culminated in my magnum opus ‘Bitcoin as a Nonviolent Tool Against State Financial Censorship.
why do i write?
Writing is a way for me to think, create, share, and most of all, write.
